Policies

Because I value both your wellness and my own, I adhere to the following policies:

Confidentiality
I take your privacy very seriously. I will not divulge any information about you to any other person, except in exceptional circumstances. In accordance with my professional responsibilities, disclosure may occur where:
• there is a perceived risk to your safety or that of another person
• there is a legal requirement to do so
If such an exceptional circumstance did arise, where possible I would discuss the breaking of confidentiality with you first.

As a client of mine, if you have any questions or concerns regarding confidentiality, please feel free to discuss these with me.

Fees
My fee is $165, including gst, for a 1 hour session.

Payment Options
For online clients, a direct deposit payment is due prior to each session.
For face-to-face clients, payment methods are:
• Card (2% fee for cards)
• Online direct deposit prior to the session.

Cancellations
Cancellations 24hrs or less before a scheduled session incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Social media policy
I do not accept friend requests from clients. Additionally, I do not counsel through social media – however, I’m happy to respond to enquiries. If you are interested in a counselling session with me, please contact me for an appointment.

Ethical Standards
Adhering to clinical, professional and ethical standards within my psychotherapy and counselling work is of utmost importance to me. I am committed to ongoing training and professional development, regular supervision, my own therapy and self reflection. I operate within the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) Code of Ethics. For more information about PACFA’s Code of Ethics, click here.
